You know what, I don't give a frick if you think I'm an a-hole...

You are 100% right about Jurgy. Is that better?

The irony in you calling me a douche is strong.

There are some wounds we need to mend in these parts.

Maybe Alvarado and Brooks become a dominant pairing.

If that's the future we should fire Klinsi tomorrow!

2006 WC went fantastic for Bruce, didn't it?

And so many soccer milenials think bob is god because landycakes bailed his arse out with a dramatic goal against a meh algeria.

Bob wasnt terrible which is exactly how i feel about jurgen. Bruce was pretty good, 2006 just wasnt our year but we were in much better shape than say 1998 where it felt hopeless

How quickly you write off two 22 year olds.

I don't think many think this. I for one am not out here hoping that Bob comes back.

However, Jurgen has hardly been an improvement and it's a joke that his leash is 100x longer than Bob's was when he was coach.

ETA: downvotes

To be fair the US should have beaten Slovenia 3-2 and Dempsey scored a good goal in the 1st half against Algeria. Without terrible FIFA officiating the US advances fairly comfortably.

I love Bruce, btw.

I liked Bruce and bob both just fine. They each had their issues that I have mostly forgotten about over time. So in klinsmanns current struggles, we glorify the past to make the present look worse than it is. Happens across every sport all the time.

But klinsmann hurt my feelings last year so frick him
