I strongly disagree here.
When was the last time you saw Yedlin competently (or ever) play left back? We already have a RB who can deputize at LB in Dest. If we play Brooks on the left we need more of a stay at home LB anyway because Brooks is so slow. Dest and Robinson have a tendency to attack so much that they leave Brooks on an island, which against speedy wingers is no bueno.

I think Aaronson is the biggest omission from the OP’s list.
I agree. He was like in my next 3 out. Would replace Lletget, Konrad or Weah with him.

It’s not a like for like switch. Adams is a better D mid than Acosta and Musah is a better 8 than Acosta.

If you are including Musah who’s out 6-9 months, should include Aaron Long who’s out too.

This is correct. He may miss the first window.

Yeah, that’s who I thought was the blatant omission as well.
He will start some games for us probably, and IMO is our 3rd best wing player behind Reyna and Pulisic, and I think there’s a pretty big gap between him and 4th.

Morris will have something to say once he comes back.

Swap out Konrad for Dike and I would mostly agree with this. Dike is going to improve drastically over the course of WCQ
I agree, I believe Dike was feeling fatigued

With three games each window, we may be taking as many as 26-30 players for that first camp, If the World Cup were tomorrow, this is the 23 I'm taking.
GK: Steffen, Turner, Horvath
DEF: Dest, Cannon, Yedlin, A. Robinson, Brooks, McKenzie, M. Robinson, Richards
MID: Adams, McKennie, Musah, Acosta, Lletget
FWD: Pulisic, Reyna, Aaronson, Weah, Hoppe, Sargent, Zardes
Starting XI
Turner
Dest-M. Robinson-Brooks-A. Robinson
Adams
McKennie-Musah
Reyna-Hoppe-Pulisic
GK: Steffen, Turner, Horvath
DEF: Dest, Cannon, Yedlin, A. Robinson, Brooks, McKenzie, M. Robinson, Richards
MID: Adams, McKennie, Musah, Acosta, Lletget
FWD: Pulisic, Reyna, Aaronson, Weah, Hoppe, Sargent, Zardes
Starting XI

AHh crap forgot about him. Yeah Aaronson needs to be on here. He will give teams fits as a super sub. Him and Hoppe have that energy and audacity that are sorely needed.

Hoppe...I just like the kid at #9 due to the swag and his ability to press for 90 minutes continuously. If he has any real ability to finish or hold up play, then sign him up.

Striker is his natural position.

Who has decent highlights of him? Searched YT and only found a couple short videos.
