but frick July and August is going to be a reality check for him.

And wait til he has to play a full season, playing games in Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, etc. even in May and September.

I'm not saying that, but he turns 33 in October and his legs are already almost gone. It'll be incredibly easy to relax just a little bit, and that little bit may be too much to want to overcome.

Was at the game last night, he looked pretty good on the ball and his passes/first touch were so clearly better than anyone else on the field. Could tell the team fed off his energy. The new stadium is badass but the concession lines were the worst I’ve ever seen at a sporting event.

Before the start of Saturday night's game, stadium railing fell and struck D.C. United sideline reporter Lindsay Simpson. Simpson was hit in the head by an object and was unable to be on the game broadcast, D.C. United later confirmed to ESPN. Simpson also serves as D.C. United's director of communications.

never mind, Rooney is gonna be Giovinco

been pretty close

18 games 10 goals 7 assist

Giovinco

26 games 12 goals 14 assist

o and Acosta is 2nd in the league in assist, what wonders having an attacking threat up top can do

Some real smart post in this thread.

Wayne Rooney’s impact on D.C. United has been so profound, his midseason arrival did not dissuade MLS voters from making him an MVP finalist. The English striker didn’t join the team until the 15th match of the season, but with 12 goals and seven assists in 20 appearances, he was the pivotal figure in United’s rise from last place into the playoffs. Rooney is joined on the list by Los Angeles Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron, Los Angeles FC forward Carlos Vela and Atlanta forward Josef Martinez

You know what they say, "Live by the Englishman, die by the Englishman missing a penalty."

Good luck with that. Then again when you lose 7-0 there’s only one way you can go… up.

Did I say that?

Are you saying he’s a spectacular one? His record with Derby was not great. This feels like a Thierry Henry coming to coach Montreal repeat.

You should probably stop while you are ahead

What he was able to do a Derby in that situation was fantastic
