They got “paid” they don’t care anymore
In reality the world caught up and fast while USSF and the NWSL were asleep at the wheel
The issue they don’t want to talk about is how equal pay is going to kill any quality the NWSL had bc they are not obligated to play in the domestic league anymore to be on the national team.

They were always going to have problems passing the torch between generations even without the social issues

I took my daughter who plays last night. FWIW US absolutely dominated the first half. So many opportunities that just didn’t go in. Then Germany got a kind of fluky one at the start of the 2nd half and it just got weird.

They decided to be Social justice warriors and put personal causes and agendas in front of the game they are paid to play.

If they have the same jobs as the men, then why don’t they just play on the men’s team? Seems simple.

USSF let alone the entire NWSL can’t compete with just how much money Man City has invested in the women’s game. Them and Chelsea set the standard in the UK.
Now that basically all the clubs in the EPL and Championship are in on it. It’s game over. Also with Barca and Madrid starting to care now.
These chicks will be full on pros by 18 while our girls will be playing in college
