Gatt officially dropped from roster due to injury. Jurgen must choose a replacement from 12 men who were left off the final roster from the prelim roster.

Wood ain't getting called up. His club team wants him for all of their preseason, which seems like a good sign.

I love Beasley... always have. But if you told me two years ago that he would captain the US in as much as a friendly, I'd have said you were crazy.

I wonder how much Landon doesn't care. I don't think he cares about captaincy at all at this point, he just wants to be on the pitch.

True. But if he would be looking to get some game time, because of injuries, things could change. 1860 were probably told by Jurgen that he wouldn't get much when they made the decision to pull him out. Just speculating though, I really don't even remember seeing him play, US or Germany.

As usual the nay thing that worries me is the CBs. Goodson is ok, but Gooch looked slow. I don't think Fiscal is much of an upgrade either. Wonder if Parkhurst could slide in and Beltran or Ashe play RB?
