Here's who didn't make it from that provisional roster:

Hall
Boca
Besler
Gonzo
Zusi
Shea
Davis
Evans
GAM
Feilhaber
Gordon
Wood

I would guess that they don't want Gonzalez and Belser to be away from their clubs for essentially two months.

Orozco Fiscal and Parkhurst can play there

Fiscal is a CB.

But they are predominantly RBs correct? And neither over 6'.

Just find it odd we have that many RB/LBs and only 2 primary CBs.

Orozco Fiscal and Parkhurst *can*. I can't imagine that they're a better option than Carlos.

I read today that Bocanegra is leaving Rangers, so maybe Jurgen wants to let him get his club situation settled? Perhaps he can be called in after the group stage.

The middle of the park scares me.

Beckerman, Diskerud, Torres, Holden are the CM choices. That could be a disaster of epic proportions... might work out, but it certainly has potential to go bad.

This is what I was thinking.

Not necessarily, but your concerns are still valid

How is Beckerman still a viable option?

It's a big chance for Stu. Just looking at that roster it seems fairly clear that Beckerman will be starting, and I would guess that Stu is the most likely to be paired up with him in this 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1 system we seem to be going with.

Didn't catch that the first time around. That should be interesting.

Juergen is also effectively killing DaMarcus Beasley's preseason and summer by dragging him to the Gold Cup. For a 31 y/o w/a history of injuries, not sure how I feel about that.

definitely why, but we shouldn't handicap our national team because our domestic league operates during the intl schedule.

Who captains the side?

Beasley? Gomez? Beckerman?

I'd be shocked if it was Donovan.

Rimando, Beckerman, Donovan.

one of those three, in order from most to least likely.

Number of goals Stu serves up to Landon?

I'm setting the over/under at 5.

My body is ready.

He gets a lot of shite and rightfully so sometimes but he can play a good role in a tournament like this against the Belizes and Cubas.

Good question. I'd say Beasley based on recent hustle with first team and experience.

A lot of idiots on Facebook saying "why are we sending our B team?" Um if a guy like Dempsey, Howard, or Altidore got injured in this tourney and couldn't play in the next round of the qualifiers they would be asking "why would Jurgan play these guys?" This is a good opportunity to play guys that are on the bubble to go to Brazil and see what they can do.

Bedoya often plays centrally in an attacking position.
