Well for starters, the federal courts in New York, as they've granted a stay on a habeas writ. As well as pretty much every person who's ever attended a basic constitutional law class.

Yeah but most don't expect any of that to hold water. It will get sorted out I'm sure. I'd be surprised if it was held up as unconstitutional.

The EO, in its current wording, violates due process, equal protection, and causes irreparable harm. All being very basic constituional tenets. It's not surprising that Trump didn't get advisement from the justice department before issuing this. These are legal mistakes a 1L law school student would know better about.

No, but being naive about the law doesn't either. In its current wording, it's a de facto ban on Muslim immigrants. Mainly because the United Nations doesn't give "refugee" status to Christians (a wholly separate problem that needs addressing), meaning the entire order is cleverly masked under that definition.

If they did, then the justice department is staffed by blowup dolls. Again, these are absolutely elementary mistakes that you learn on day one of your constitutional law class.
If that's misguided, then misguided must mean that I didn't fail the habeas question on my con law final.

Regardless if we agree on the ban, no one can deny it was put together like a 2nd grade English paper. It wasn't well written and poorly thought out. Bc of that we have all the issues with green card holders and people with work visas.

Is there a term we can coin for people who are just tired of all the whining when you dont get your way in regards to trump. Because i'm not a trumpkin, but i love it when snowflakes get so upset over what he does.

This was my point earlier. Regardless of any implications of religious bias one way or the other, from a legal perspective it's the equivalent of a kindergarten vocabulary lesson. Very, very basic and painfully obvious legal errors.
