Whoa Jurgen, isn't it cool when you have wide midfielders playing in wide midfield positions?

He peaked pretty well on to get that cross at its highest point.

Oh look, a natural wide player playing in his actual position... Finlay is exactly what this team is lacking, an actual winger.

And therefore will be a defensive mid in the qualifiers. (That joke will never get old)

That's what good players do. They don't miss the easy ones. The chip was bad, but that isn't a clear cut opportunity. A lot of players dick that chip up.

I've thought so for a while, but I'm a bit of a fanboy for Finlay. It's just a question of whether he has the touch and mentality to play against bigger countries. He's got the pace and crossing to really be dangerous out wide while still having a knack for scoring a goal himself.

I don't think a joke can really get old when the butt of that joke keeps doing the things that spawned the joke.

Against the good teams. We need him to finish some chances that aren't clear cut. That's the difference between average and good and he's average.

What a cross. Such a big goal to end the camp on a positive note. I've bsen out of the loop lately keeping up with the USMNT but watching these last two games, I really like some of these young dudes.

Come June we need him to play better. That's all I'm saying.

I'll say this, he's sucked dick for club teams in Europe, but when it's come to the USMNT, Jozy has always performed. To think differently is just ridiculous.

I'd say he did fairly well at AZ Alkmaar

The only person who scored more in his last year there was a certain Wilfred Bony.

That's reasonable. I don't think there's anyone who would disagree that we all want him to perform well, especially when it matters.

Very true! I'm mainly speaking about when he was in England. But he scored like 30+ goals in the Netherlands, right?
