Need Mix to get active in the hole, and more from fullbacks without conceding too much ground to Quintero. Beasley will be key.

Eddie Johnson trying to do it all by himself

I think he's done a great job of holding the ball up. The thing i've noticed the most is Bedoya/Parkhurst/Beckerman getting a whole lot of touches, and they are some of our weakest players on the ball. If we can get Diskerud to make sume nice runs on the ball and advance the ball up the middle, we'll see some goals.

Corona has looked pretty fricking amazing IMO.

Corona had a really good ten minute stretch. He's drifted in and out a bit (like everybody really), but I thought he was one of our better players that half.

This is a dangerous game as far as breaking them down without getting hit on a counter.

Sorry about your delusion, but the guy can't create anything by himself and between his laziness and the fact that he'sa midget...

Donovan has to be the most overrated player in history

I've been destroyed for saying this before, but this isn't the tournament to bash Donovan at all. I actually respect him again for coming back with some motivation to earn his place and growing a sick beard.

I must have missed Corona's good play in the first half. Didn't see him do much creating...he didn't even have a ton of touches.

Have to spread the field better this half.

damn, this is a pretty good crowd. Don't see much of that for the USMNT.

The problem in this game isn't johnson or Donovan or corona. It's like in the NBA when you have only 3 guys on the court who can shoot so the opposing team just focuses on them and makes everyone else beat them. There's a reason beckerman, bedoya, and parkhurst have the most time on the ball.

Also as a saints fan I'm not at all surprised by this performance. I'm just happy the team managed to get to the stadium on time and lineup without a head coach

Different grades of sprains. He could be out a while with this. Also, he'll be much more likely to reinjure it now(whichever ligament it is that is sprained).
