And to think Klisnmann needed to be fired less than two months ago.

We're beating the international equivalent of Sun Belt Conference teams in CONCACAF. Costa Rica is the lone exception. They're generally pretty good.

A win over Germany started the streak FWIW

Of those 8 wins, 1 was against Germany, and 3 were in the hex.

We've always played this level of competition and we've never had this good of a record until now.

Why can't you guys just accept that this team is pretty good right now?

So why hasn't the US been 8-0-0 before? They've gone through countless stretches of competition stretches like this. It's not like all these teams suck.

We are hitting our stride right now. Lets hope we can continue our momentum going into Brazil. Hopefully we will have some good preparation friendly's against top competition before Brazil.

Also, the three wins that were against weaker competition were blowouts by our B squad. I think it's a combination of confidence, adapting to the system, and a favorable June schedule in the Hex.

Ok. And how is that any different than previous GC years? Great accomplishment by Jurgen, his staff, and our players. Not necessarily in that order.

It was more like their B team.. Anyway, we are playing very good soccer at the moment and finally taking care of business that we are supposed to take care of. Still a year out from the WC, if we keep building an getting better, I think we will have a dangerous team on our hands come Brazil '14.

Internal team rankings are always all over the place. Regardless, it was still a decent team and the best (on paper) that we played over the period

We weren't exactly using our full A team either.

I don't care if it was their M team, the lineup they sent out was good. It was a quality win.

This is such a dumb statement. That team is probably better than any concacaf team. It was a quality team from a top 5 team in the world. Granted one goal was a herp derp by the keeper but I'm sure we let up a bit toward the end.

If you can't see that this team is playing better and is now infinitely deeper than years past then you are blind and know absolutely dick about the sport and our team.

Yeah I'm mad

Pretty much everyone on that C team would start for the US.
