The lack of creativity is killing our strikers’ ability to get free. The only guy that is creating space and putting in dangerous balls over the top with any regularity is Shaq.

Everyone else is passing to feet and not leading a pass into open space between the lines. Aside from a couple of good dribbles (which were wasted by subsequent passing by them) from the midfield, they have been non-existent.

Vines has been bad. Nipples is getting bullied on his wing.

As much as I hate to say it, we need Zardes and Roldan again. Roldan rather quickly.

These dudes who play in their domestic league are so much better than what we are seeing from our domestic players

In terms of technical ability, passing, understanding space, creativity and more

Cool, you’re right. They’re developing players who at the height of their careers play at Al-Akbar while MLS developed guys are playing for scrubs like RB Leipzig, Dortmund, Juventus, and Bayern. We should be embarrassed.

There is a complete lack of vision. The attackers are making runs, they are not getting service and/or the service is unplayable.

We have no speed up front. We need to stretch the field but have no ability to do it.

Exactly. If you can’t put balls into dangerous areas from both levels behind the forwards, that relegates the forwards to rec-league level ball-chasing. And that is IF the mids can get it to them.

We have height and physicality with Dike, but as I said that is detracted by the lack of dangerous service to his head. He has had a couple of duel wins that created space for him and Hoppe to create.

I am not being provocative, so you are saying we are slower than Qatar?

Why are our good players not playing the Gold Cup again? I imagine club commitments?

I feel bad for Dike, but he is going to have to play himself back into the picture at the club level before we can trust him in World Cup qualifying.

I would bring on Zardes for some speed and better play with his feet, but the only "fast" players on the field for us are probably Moore and Robinson.
