The distribution of yellows to each team is a different set of harshness. The fact FIFA has never realized how one sided every USA game is incredible.

Very poor marking from 2 defenders. Didn't close the guy down quick enough near the corner flag, let him send in a cross. Brooks was beaten to the spot easily by the attacking player, and allowed the flicked on goal.
