Pulisic is our best 10.
No one is saying he isn't. Nagbe could have been on the roster and starting today instead of Roldan, though.

pretty harsh to focus on Trapp when Steffen and Miazga literally took a shite on the field during the first half

I understand this to an extent. The problem with Trapp is that he’s been poor (at least when I’ve watched) 90% of the time with the USMNT. I’ve seen Steffen be good before.

I don't think so.

He was not chosen by GGG...

He’s also obviously our best winger. I think I’d personally prefer him on the left and Nagbe inside than Pulisic at the 10 and Arriola out wide.

It’s not like I think it’s an open and shut debate though.

I don’t really want Pulisic wide if it means Roldan inside.

The difference is, at times, both of them have shown glimpses of national team quality.

Berhalter thinks he's coaching against the New England Revolution. He's such a chode. He needs to adapt his callups and tactics to the international game ASAP or he's fricking gone.

Will Trapp seems like a really great guy. I’d like to watch the Gold Cup with him. As in literally. On my couch.

We've been complaining for years that we need a true 10, and we finally got one with Pulisic.

Watching what he did in that role as a 19 year old in WCQ's was orgasmic. Until we find someone that can produce that same type of quality, there is no reason for him to not be at the center of our attack.

Matthew Doyle @MattDoyle76
1m
67 minutes in and #USMNT d-mid Wil Trapp has 4 measurable defensive actions.

Arriola

I desperately need this crowd to turn on the team and start booing.

Jozy has at least made us look better.

This is an interesting Gold Cup for McKennie. He is very young, but I still would like to see him start to make more of a consistent impact on games. He just floats in and out of games at this point.

Will Trapp is comically bad. Truly incredible how many times in a row hes gotten run past or lost the ball without making one stop or completing one simple ball.

Does Berhalter actually play him still going forward? Jesus.

Remember when we were relieved that Sarachen was gone and we wouldn't see Will Trapp anymore?

Fun times.
