I'm feeling it for the ugly brute.

Smash what? The ball? On an easy give and go?
Posted on 7/10/15 at 11:12 am to cwil177
Going forward, we need Cameron to be a DM or RB. I don't see Jones or Beckerman making it to the next World Cup.

Brooks and Alvarado are what we are looking at for the immediate future with some Besler sprinkled in for this cycle. Only way I see that changing too much is if CCV or EPB suddenly step up about 2 years from now.

Just trying to be positive for him.

I want to see timmy ream get at least 1 or 2 shots in competitive matches. You need more than 2 CBs over the length of a WC cycle

I wonder if Yarborough gets pt tonight so he gets cap-tied. If we go up a few goals in the 1st half I could see him come in for the 2nd to see it out. That has to be the only reason he's on the squad over Hamid or Johnson.
And talking about CBs, don't forget about Miazga (sp). Especially if he goes to Swansea and develops over the next year or so.

I know, but I think our go-to pairing will be Brooks/Alvarado.

I think we need to build continuity more than anything at CB, even though Ventura got smoked a couple of times, including on the Honduras goal.
Absolutely. Let's get everyone settled in a bit. It's too fluid on the back 4, especially at CB. Let these guys get used to playing in a real match together. And let's up Chandler can remove his head from his ridiculous backside.

Let's just let Chandler do what he does best - wonder strikes from 25 yards out into side-netting...

Timmy Chandler's going to complete 60% of his passes tonight

Would love to see a shellacking--we havent seen one in a while. Jozy hat-trick would do his confidence good.

Hopefully it wouldn't have the Wondo effect.
Slam a bunch of goals against shite competition, build confidence, then shank a cupcake into the stands in the most important game of the century.

Did any of y'all watch the Panama/Honduras game? They showed the field for tonight at Gillette Stadium and it's in AWFUL shape. Sod on top of turf with very, very obvious delineations between separate pieces. Friedel said he could just bend over and pick it up.

Has Mix ever played on the left?

I don't know, but he can't be worse than Zusi on the left.
