No, but Long struggled so this makes sense.

I haven’t really figured out the whole captain situation. I’ve never really been one that thinks that matters at all though. Leaders are going to lead regardless of what’s on their arm

it seems like they gave Pulisic the armband in the QFs b/c the match was very close to his hometown of Hershey, PA
Steffan was the captain against TnT
I don't think the armband really means a damn thing to the USA in this tournament
