I told you that I heard that was the last bid that Spurs rejected. Stupid that they did if true. You never know where the truth is with Euro journalism. They seem to just make up a lot of shite.

My bad. I checked this page but didn't notice your post on the one before. I don't really know what they're thinking if they did actually reject it. They could buy 2-3 quality players with that. It's going to be interesting to see who Chelsea gets at midfield. With Villas Boas attacking style we have to have more quality in the midfield.

So apparently Modric asked not to play today. He wants to leave and obviously Spurs are trying to make him out to be the bad guy.

What good will that do? Just take the £30 million or so and reinvest it. Harry can surely spend every last penny of that.

They should have sold him a week ago. That way they would have had some time to do something with the money.

I can't find anything on whether he is first team or not. I did find an article that hinted he may have trouble with a work permit and would be loaned to a Dutch side if that is the case. The other articles appear that he may feature with the first squad. AVB seems to want to bring in some youth.
