We are one more loss from Juande’s dreaded “2 points from 8 games” in the Premier League. It’s 2 from 7, 3 from 8, and one PL win in 12.
It’s actually insulting to me how our fans still haven’t come to grips with the situation. We are currently the worst team in the country. On form, no one is worse.

And judging by our future matches, I’d like to say there are points to pick up. But I don’t have anything faith we’ll do it. More injuries will come, and our players lack will.

What’s that? Gary Neville complaining about inconsistent refereeing? Well I never

Man, I’m really worried about this team.

Per the Guardian:
Too little too late
quote:
Tottenham’s owners are planning to rip up the club’s rigid wage structure before a major overhaul of the squad this summer if the team avoid relegation. There is an acknowledgment at Spurs that the club have underinvested in player salaries for years, which along with an injury crisis has led to their being 16th in the Premier League, four points off the bottom three.

Fulham is the match where I’ll properly judge Tudor and this team.
That being said, if I see both Xavi and Spence starting on the left, I already know we’re going to get rinsed on that flank. Both of them naturally drift inside, so who’s actually going to hold the width?

Yeah he’s not going to admit it, but VAR is inexcusable:
quote:
Peter Bankes, the referee in Sunday’s north London derby, is convinced he was right to rule out Randal Kolo Muani’s goal for a push on Arsenal’s Gabriel. Speaking on Match Officials Mic’d Up, Bankes said: “I see two hands from the Tottenham player into the back of the Arsenal player and that is going to be my main focus. Once you see two hands in live play, it looks like a push, a clear push. “I delayed the whistle so that the play could continue, then obviously gave my final decision once the ball had gone into the goal and that allows the VAR then to potentially check if I’ve misread something or if it doesn’t quite look right. But on field it looked a very, very clear offence.” The VAR confirmed Bankes’ on-field decision and the referee said that, having subsequently looked at replays of the incident, he was “still comfortable” with his ruling. “Obviously, different speeds can make things look different. In slow motion, it can look different to what you see live,” he added. “I get one look at it, and I was more than happy that the two hands on the back had enough impact and was an offence. I understand there’s going to be split opinions on it, but for me I’m still comfortable that is enough for a free kick.”

If Tottenham get relegated and a Leeds fan doesn’t pop in here and post the Franco first time gif the whole season will have been for nothing.

If Spurs are relegated, I’m not convinced we get promoted right away.
