Fyi the match, starting now, is on the Golazo network. I think you can access it through paramount plus if you have that. If not you can access it for free through Pluto tv app and search for Golazo network.

Looks like he’s giving Udogie the freedom to go wide and push up which makes Moore pinch more inside, therefore moving to 3 in the back on attack.

I don’t really know how to judge preseason games. Sort of meh, but it’s the first game, and it showed in the details. Dudes were breathing heavy after 45 minutes. Kudus had a couple of nice moments, and vuskovic looked good. I really really hope Son decides to leave/is pushed to leave this summer.

My only take away after watching highlights is that Mikey Moore kinda looks like Skyler Gisondo from Righteous Gemstones / Superman.

Nf fans sound dejected, surrendering that MGW is gone. His performance, according to them, was half-hearted and then he took awhile after the match alone to clap the fans and signed a heart. They think it’s farewell.

Talking tactics, since the above was the case yesterday, we most certainly need a LB behind Udogie. Porro on the right stayed back and provided far post crosses into space, whilst Udogie went up the wing alongside MM to either overlap or play more centrally through the channel.
I noticed that it flipped in the second half with Davies staying back on the left and Djed driving up the right alongside Kudus. (Part of this was trying to get Son isolated on the left, and we were switching the ball to him.) Problem was, Davies wasn’t making those cross field long balls to the right.
I’m wondering if Kota or Vuskuvic will be used in that role, or we go out and get another LB?

MGW did NOT travel to Portugal due to his wife is in the hospital about to deliver their baby.

A few weeks ago I couldn’t have cared less about MGW, now I’m living and dying with every tweet from accounts with names like “Real Tolmie’s Hairdoo.” Time to take a step back.
