Frank is adaptable and really good out of possession and in player development. They played great stuff in the championship then did it in a more conventional way when they had to replace Watkins and Benrahma and brought in Toney. They then became more defensive and out of possession focused when they came up.
I had some smoke with him because of that time he got into an altercation with Alioski on the touch line when he was Smith’s assistant. (There’s a clip of it on season 1 of the amazon documentary.
)Then he tried playing mind games with Leeds when we were on our way up and they just missed out. But he’s really good at adapting and getting the best out of players. You just have to see if it will translate to a different and much bigger club.

Strangely, my one worry is Madders. Damsgaard was a workhorse in the 10, and Madders has the propensity to get hit a lot. Maybe Frank will play Kulu there as well.

I’m already excited about Bergvall, as we all know his ceiling is pretty high, and think Frank is the guy to develop him.
