Well, as bad as the last two weeks have been, we are only 4 points from the top. Not that I believe we will get any closer but any kind of positivity is needed at this point.

The timing of the International break has been terrible for club teams. How are they supposed to establish any consistency with a break every few weeks? To make matters worse this red list country quarantine rule is ridiculous. Could we not just test these guys while they are on international duty and when they get back for a few days and let them play if they produce a negative test?

Romero, Sanchez, Royal, & Lo Celso have played more games for country than they have Spurs lol.

Add Son and Gil to the list of players unavailable for Newcastle. Tested positive for COVID

Apparently Son has tested negative, and if he tests negative again tomorrow then he'll be cleared to play vs Newcastle.

He's fully vaccinated per the South Korean FA, for what it's worth.

Just saw a rumor that his second test was negative. Hope it’s true and he can play

I was surprised to hear how many guys weren’t vaxxed in the PL

Just watched the replay.

NBCSN missed the first 20' of the match on their replay stream, and besides that what a weird, weird match
Spurs played well though.

Finally finished my move to Missouri and just watched. I think we played well minus Diers weird goal. Son’s goal was great team work. Wish to see much more of that.

Strange match. First 20 minutes we looked like we had concrete in our shoes. They were seriously twice as fast as us. Then the adrenaline wore off and we settled in. Then the weird game pause. Overall I’m shocked we are on the cusp too 4 but also optimistic given that our best player hasn’t even started to play his best and we are finally getting passed some injuries and shite luck with players and national teams. Good run of games coming up to make some statements.

Dane Scarlett has no business being anywhere near the first team. The fact that he’s basically Harry Kane’s backup, unless you count son, is a joke. In no way am I blaming him for this performance, that’s on all the worthless senior players, but physically he’s just been getting worked all game.

It will be a miracle if they somehow manage to keep vitesse from scoring, and get a point, because in no way does it feel like they are going to come close to scoring a goal.

This is really bad. Good for Vitesse but the guys who expect to be first team players have been hot garbage.

I think they literally scored a minute after I posted that.

I think Scarlett gets sent out on loan next season and Troy Parrot comes in as back-up.

Was expecting/hoping for a draw today with this 100% new XI. Let the starters take a break and hopefully get 3 points against West Ham this weekend.

Minus the first 10'-15', pretty solid half from Spurs. Each team should probably have one or two goals.

That result sucks. That game was set up for a draw and one play with a complete lack of effort by Kane cost us a point on the road. We were terrible in the second half, but WHU still didn’t create that many chances. This team just can’t put a complete game together.

Good thing we rested our first 11 to lose to West Ham without attempting a shot in the second half.

What a godawful product we keep putting on the field. Somehow Nuno ball is less creative and attacking than Mourinho ball.

We have no identity. You never know what you’re gonna get from week to week. Some weeks we press, some we play long balls, some
We sit back and defend. Nuno has literally failed to establish a single characteristic of how we’re going to play. I just see this working out. Our squad is meh, but Nuno has done nothing to make me believe he can establish an identity and get this team moving in the same direction.

Honestly, I’m not a sure there’s any manager out there that could get anything from this sad bunch. Levy failed to invest in this club for several years now. The team finished 2nd and there’s really been no investment in improving the roster since then. There’s so much failure across the board right now in this organization that I could point the finger at almost anyone and find fault.

Finally get a Saturday match this weekend.
Only Spurs' second one of the year.
