I haven't even thought of this.

Alabama's only contribution to world soccer can't even get that right. What a state.

How much would it cost.... to literally employ everyone from the Icelandic FA, down to their strength coaches and water boys.... like just purchase the franchise, cause we're burning this current one to the ground.

Basically all their coaches at all levels have top notch certifications.

Everything doesn't reduce to pro/rel. Iceland has professionalization of coaching, so that 5 year olds are taught by licensed coaches instead of parents. In Scandinavia, which also has pro/rel, kids wait until they are teenagers to get professional coaching.

Yeah, if what you gather from Iceland's rise to becoming a legit soccer nation is that "THEY HAVE PRO/REL," you're trying waaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard.

DS, you're making solid points in other threads! People are angry enough to start reasoning with you! Don't push it!

He's been basically sidelined since late 15/16 with a hip injury and I don't think he is fully recovered still

A lot of MLS teams are going to try and bring him to the US. Question becomes if he wants to go MLS or stay in Europe. He probably fetches higher price in US

At this point, I'd rather him just play at all. While I'm 100% on board with our players going to Europe over staying the US, if they're not ever playing for their clubs, then they're being completely wasted.
