Been saying for weeks I wouldn't even mind a bad start if it would get our arse in gear. This is pretty much the definition of a bad start.
That said I think the problems may be a little too deep to fix in one window.

I'm struggling to remember the time we looked this outmatched. I know we are without Courtois but still.

Anyone better than Ramires.
All we have are guys who would be good to finish off games or play defensive minded. We have NO options when we need to be able to attack though.

Heard Rahman is in London today instead of playing for Augsburg. So maybe that'll clear up one of our issues. Clearly not the top issue though.

Even Cesc has been nothing but average for us so far.
Bender would just add another defensive mid to the team... Don't see the need.
I'm glad we sold Luis... He was overvalued and we used those funds well.
Our back four just lacks pace... Outside of Dave who still looks terrific.
In the future, I'd be interested in Dave at RB, Ivon and Zouma, and Baba as the back four. A lot more athleticism than we are currently fielding.

We looked like horse shite. City looks like they can compete for a treble this season... That was a strong performance in all aspects of the game.

Yea we fricked ourselves hard and will have to overspend by about double to get anyone that could actually help.
For that reason we probably won't and we will be in a fight to the finish just to get top 4.

Don't know if it's Mourinho or Roman refusing to spend but somebody has their head in the sand big time.
