We went from being super deep with keepers for decades, to having to field an aged howard and then Q-tip. Do we have a pipeline going again?

Surprised to see this type of comment. If there’s one thing American players are known for, it’s incredible work ethic and generally being very athletic. I think our coach in ‘94 said something like “These American boys don’t play great football, but they can outrun anybody.”
I hope Klinsmann develops into a good GK for us. He said that dumb shite about Donovan a few years ago, but all of us said stupid things when we were teenagers. He’s apologized, and nobody should hold that against him at this point.
Hope things work out for him. We need one of the young GKs to step up soon. I don’t care which one, but somebody needs to.
