The remainder of Pulis' coaching staff - including Gerry Francis and Dave Kemp - have been asked by Parish to stay on for the Arsenal game before leaving the club.

This is a tough one, on one hand you understand, but this close to the season is kind of doooshy. Oh, he sent a message, but not everyone will get it or like it.

Jurgy to Palace, Pulis to the Yanks

Honestly, it will be Mackay. Same DoF he had and was close to at Cardiff.

If Pulis can make Villa play like Palace did then im all for it, altho Id be worried that with Benteke and Kozak we would turn into Stand we are pretty much nearly there.

Sounds like he wanted to spend more and they weren't willing to do it. And I could argue both sides. On one hand, he did a great job last year and wants to improve upon that. On the other hand, the front office writes the checks and I'm sure they're aware of Pulis' amazing stat with Stoke that only 2 other teams outspent him while he was there

My guess is that that stat is deceiving. No way his wage bill at Stoke was that high.

Pulis had big ambitions to build on last season's success and had transfer targets. Parish is the man who pays the bills -- along with the three other club owners -- and perhaps isn't so keen to see the manager repeat his spending at Stoke, which saw only Manchester City and Chelsea outspend him during his tenure there.
