Of course I have he isn’t great either right now

But you would no doubt start him over Turner?

Like, I get it, you are the contrarian, but this is just a bad take all around.

The problem is Turner doesn’t play

Your starting WC GK only making four appearances isn’t what you want bc they need to see live action vs different types of teams every week

I’m sure it has been talked about but has there been an explanation for the forwards?

Gregg is on Futbol Americas right now and Herc grilled him on the strikers, Gregg mentioned that they didn't chose Wright over Pepi, but Wright over Pefok for the better in form physical, counter-attacking 9.

He said he picked three different striker profiles with Ferreira being the best on the ball and Sargent )who they chose over Pepi) being the hybrid. He also made it sound like the fact that Sargent knows a lot of the Welsh players in the championship. He didn't say it, but I am pretty confident in saying Sargent starts first match.

Gregg choosing certain guys because of his system. What system? Knock the ball around aimlessly in midfield with no penetration and 1 shot on target

Ferreira is literally the only one where you can say, yeah this is a system play. He actually went against conventional tSystem wisdom with some of these picks.

Gotta feel for him. I’m ok with him being left off but at the same time gutted for him. He had some really nice moments over the last few years.

Outside of Weah, who else has the pace to stretch the field vertically? Morris is a fine pick.

AND he’s starting for the 2nd best team in the Bundesliga!

Wait never mind, that’s the other Jordan.

“If we would have made the decision [in] mid-September, Jordan Pefok would have probably been a lock to be in based on his form at Union Berlin,” Berhalter said. “But since then, it’s a different story.”

Since mid September Haji Wright has played against:

Konyaspor
Alanyaspor
Istanbulspor
Sivasspor
Faith karagumruk
Pendikspor

Gregg Berhalter clearly has a case of the Asporger’s

Man, I know you really wanted to make this joke, but how did you pick a post that wasn’t talking about Jordan Morris, when there were plenty to choose from?

I don’t believe him one bit. But Gregggg is too smug to admit it.
