as would I, provided he accepts his reduced role/standing on the squad... he's still a good player, and can add creativity, which is something, besides back line defending, we currently lack.... our defensive woes will be fixed once Virgil is back, but we do need to explore our options in the midfield, and forwards/attack....

Joyce and Ornstein have reported Konate so I can believe that. Not to mention he’s much younger and cheaper than Koulibaly so I don’t think he fits us very much

FSG has sold 10% or their ownership to ReBird Capitol, bringing in a total of €750M. Part of it will go to updates to the stadium, but that money could well fund a couple of big signings.

Believe it when I see it. I actually see it going towards buying another team or two.
Owners have always wanted Liverpool to be self sufficient.
Only change I can see is if they fund transfers as if covid revenue shortage hasn’t occurred while making it a loan.

Just saying man. There’s been a lot of noise about discussions and pre-medicals with several players. With all the talk of “oh COVID destroyed our spending ability, this is curious timing for a part-piece sale.
FSG doesn’t seem like the type to sell anything unless it is in terms of investing and making their holdings better.
A change in some of the players would definitely give a facelift after this tough campaign.

I was stumping for Werner so hard this off season, but man what a master stroke to sign Jota instead...
The league was lost with the injuries early on, but the injuries to Fab and Jota really cost us.. I think we're comfortably top 4 with those 2 healthy in Jan.. Anyway, the run in should be interesting... Up the Reds!

Am I wrong for feeling like one of Hendo or Thiago should be benched when everyone is fully healthy?
Firmino, Salah, Manè, and Jota need to be on the field together every match IMO.
Normally I’d say that’s preposterous myself, but I don’t think teams have the tools to beat us with those four at the tip of the spear.
