Pearce saying Timo much more likely than Sancho. Either cool with me, but Timo fits our bargain buy way of doing business.

Yeah Timo is more the Liverpool way of buying... also debating trying to make a trip to Anfield on May 9 when we play Chelsea and would officially lift the trophy

ETA: Nope, not going, tickets are insane for the match

I am really hoping that Keita stays healthy and can return to the form he had at the end of last year, that guy just gives us something we don't have when he is clicking. I am also really enjoying Gomez and Ox being back to their old selves. On the Sancho front, I just cannot see us splashing 100 plus for a guy that will sit behind our front three. And for that matter, even though I would love Timo Klopp is going to have to do a hell of a sell job to him considering the skins he is putting up the last couple of years. I think we can keep our front three in tact for at least 2 more years right? If that is the case why would a player the caliber of Sancho or Werner want to come here?

I agree with what you are saying here, but the same thing could be said for many of Man City’s signings over the last few years, yet many of those world-class players still signed-on.

It would be nice to be the Real/Barca/Man City-level of club where top players are eager to sign with you and actually compete for positions (and, of course, win silverware).

Wages plays a big part in that.

That would be fantastic to get to that level and it might just happen here. Our results are there we just need to sustain it and most of all keep Klopp around!!

Not mad about it at all, would give us a lot of options when it comes to rotation since he could slot in for any of the front 3 imo

Also, could change the formation to a 4-2-3-1 with Bobby dropping deeper behind Werner to rest a midfielder

Apparently weather in Norwich is horrendous. 30+ mph winds with possible rain in forecast. Really hope we are able to play today cause I don’t want first game back being Atletico

Also very important to have that depth with AFCON and Salah playing in Olympics

If it's just wind they won't call it... The city game was postponed because of heavy rain and very very strong winds (heard on a podcast up to 90 mph gusts, but not sure if that's true)

Man I really wish we had Fab at full strength for our match at Atletico but doesn’t seem like that’ll be the case

This should give us a good look at what our lineup will be at Atletico. I think we will be fine either way, but I’m excited to see how this midfield links up with Ox in the top three, unless we go into a 4-4-2 or diamond (which I don’t expect).
