Damn... Didn't even realize he was injured, now we'll have to put the best defender in the world in against United

he didn't paw it out of the top corner, but he closed down the angle and made himself big... top save IMO..

The guy still hit it center mass. I at least thought he made a foot save or something based on the reaction.

I'm sure the reactions were magnified by what was on the line..

Huge sigh of relief! Becker, continuing to show his worth game in and game out. Going forward, midfield has got to see some changes. Milner and Gini can certainly play a big role but Henderson has no business starting outside of a bottom of the table team. Keita, Shaq, and Fab and paid their dues and earned their spot at this point.

Love the Cap but, especially considering his injuries and the medical condition of his feet, I don’t think he has the athleticism nor the technical skill required to play as a regular in a Klopp squad.

Wow what a match

One of our best matches actually, if only we could finish worth a crap. Funny that Klopp just dropped a quote saying how we haven't been counter-pressing lately cause other teams basically wouldn't let us, but that didn't mean we still couldn't do it. Sure enough, Napoli comes out and gives us a bunch of space and tries to overplay, and the pressing was great.

I was thinking what everyone else was with the midfield, but they were fricking awesome today. Even Henderson. Yes, I still want Fabinho to be our go to DM, but give the man credit after a good game. And I love Gini, but I also can be his biggest critic because he frustrates me when he plays too slow, holding the ball too long, and just making very slow passes that slow down our attack. But he played with a lot of urgency today making great runs and helping link our midfield to attack.

But fricking hell, can we please start finishing chances. Should've had at least 5 goals

ETA: I'm calling it. We draw Real Madrid in round of 16

God that game was intense. My heart was pounding the entire second half. Great performance by the entire team.

I’ve been seeing complaints about Mo not celebrating goals the last couple of games. Personally, I don’t see it as a big deal. I think he knows he started the season slow and has brought a more focused and serous look to his game. I think it’s similar a similar situation to a baseball player busting a hitting slump or when Kobe would throw a dagger and just stick his bottom jaw out but not react much from that. What sayeth you guys?

I think mo celebrates in his own way. He always looks to the kop when he scores and the hat trick game he threw his hands up. I think he enjoys making the fans happy and that’s all the glory he needs

I think he's been thrust in to the forefront of the media with his season last year, and with that comes criticism.. whether with his national team or his slow start.. I think its a way of telling his critics to frick off.. just my opinion..

If anyone doubts that he cares, look at the way he celebrated Origi's goal...

May also be trying to show humility given all of the accolades last year and how often he has been in the headlines (good or bad). I’m sure humility is a large part of his faith.

Also, just wanted to make mention of how awesome Robertson played and has been playing. Quickly becoming one of my favorite players. He was all over the place yesterday making plays.

Some players crumble under the weight of playing for a big club... he's done the exact opposite.. he's raised him game to meet the challenge..

Also, I know people will say I'm wearing the red glasses, but VVD is the best CB in the world right now... and there is a case that Alisson may be the best GK..

Just my take on his celebrations...

I got the distinct feeling after his Napoli goal that his serious look is moer like him saying "See guys? I haven't gone anywhere."

Kind of a notice to the league, both Champs and EPL, that he is still around and still a major threat.

I think its more of a first year "Wow, is this really happening?" reintroduction-to-the-PL celebration response to a second year "Yeah, I really am this good." cold football killer response.

I've actually liked it a lot and think its bad-arse.

But the amateur psychoanalysis about it in the British media is pretty fugging pathetic and hilarious at the same time.
