How about Trent Alexander MF Arnold?! 20 year old local boy and poised to be one of the most decorated captains in team history, and he’s a class act.

Yes.
Rewatching goal 3, Gini’s second. Love seeing the kids in the squad just absolutely celebrating.

Did you see the post game? Kid’s taking an extra lap at Anfield soaking it all up with no other players on the pitch. Has to be a special feeling for him having grown up in it.

There is another from on the field but I can’t find it again.

I’m re watching the game and it’s obvious, I didn’t see it during the match, but Barca were absolutely terrified tonight. They were insecure from the start. Play acting, falling, jumping and rolling around. It’s absolitely comical and verging on unprofessional, definitely an insult to the beautiful game. A great team doesn’t need to play those games.

And Luis Suarez should be fined for that kick to Robbo’s shin

Stay in your own lane in your own threads (and other trolls LIKE you who are supposed to be "mature" and in charge) you loser POS.
fricking out of town in business conferences all day today and for the next couple of days this this week and missed this, but goddam THRILLED for the Reds that got to watch this live.
Already know that the CL final I'm also blocked from watching football that day too (marriage of special loved ones) but it doesn't or won't decrease my joy or happiness for the Reds and for their very, very goddam deserved fans.
fricking twats coming into this place with their bitterness and hate. Keep your peace or frick OFF.
YNWA!

I’m glued to YouTube. Beyond cloud nine. In my head I had all but given up hope after Salah was hurt this weekend, but wow... this fricking team man. YNWA!

Once Hendo's time is done (which is probably a few years from now), I'd 100% be on board with naming TAA the new captain, guy is just class. Hopefully he's around for a long long time

I’d hate to be Klopp making the decision between him and Van Dijk this summer.

Especially with the way he's been playing of late... Dude was absolutely on a mission yesterday and it was awesome. This last month has totally reversed my opinion of him.

that's amazing
american sports could learn a lot from soccer with respect to fan appreciation. you never hear american coaches or players talking about atmosphere and supporters like in soccer. they completely take the fan for granted and want to squeeze every penny out of them. it's why i never go unless offered tickets, except for aggie sports.

Also thank you comments section for this gem:
Coutinho: "I want to win the Champions League" (so he leaves Liverpool for Barca)..
Since then:
UCL Finals:
Liverpool- 2
Barca- 0

Apparently Messi got unit a scuffle with Barca fans at the Liverpool airport and had to be held back by security.
I’m sorry, there’s just always been something about him I do not like. Incredible players but he’s just a little off for me. Maybe it’s all the Argentina drama but man, they have choked away some big games.
Would be funny if we were the ones that finally broke him.
Lolz at Coutinho. Hard to see him sticking around this season, Catalan papers are railing on him.

Messi seems like he has some kind of disorder.
Maybe it’s really bad adhd, maybe he’s slightly autistic?
He doesn’t speak any english, I don’t understand that at all when you’re a player of his caliber
ETA: to be fair the only news source reporting that he “squared up to fans” is the Sun.
Until someone else says something,I’m calling it completely bull shite

Yeah, frick that... They have as much credibility as TMZ honestly (actually that's probably not even true, they have less)

He's a great player, the best ever no doubt, just not my cup of tea personality wise and he has been a part of a number of huge collapses and disappearing acts. The quote above about being on the spectrum is probably pretty spot on. He truly is a little savant.
I just don't like Barca, never have. They're a bunch of flailing, whiny babies and they play annoying football. It's better now but ticky tacky became insufferable to me during the Pep years. I know its technical, I know its beautiful but I've just never been on board.
And they seem to get a pass as some kind of "good club" from every neutral supporter. They're no different than RM at this point, government backed, super dirty in the transfer market and to me, carry this fake persona around as some sort of untouchable god send.
I'm probably over reacting but I absolutely loved knocking their asses out as the "best club in the world".

Have some mixed emotions. Relocated to the mountain time zone from the eastern time zone. Failed to convert time zones at the end of a 36 hour drive. Ecstatic for the win. Disappointed that I missed it. Called in sick as a coop for 2005.
