Solanke not good on offense, but (1) he got himself into position for a header and (2) he doesn’t consider defense below him and as a chance to rest.

yet he gave the ball away, carelessly, that resulted in the Pulisic pen..

Anerican ref calls a “Naby Keita embarrassed the opponent too badly” foul on Naby Keita.

And yeah, I’m here watching Solanke give effort on defense, mistakes and all, while Origi was a spectator for a full half previously.

Sorry to some of you can’t at the very mininum appreciate effort over standing around and watching..

Calm down... The minute someone criticized Solanke, you have to compare the two... guess what, they both aren't that good!

Sell Origi and Solanke and hope Brewster is as good as they say he is.

Thank God Alisson is coming in. Good lord, Karius. He’s a basket case and needs to be loaned, sold, etc just anywhere but Anfield.

This is why he doesn't have a chance... complete over reaction..

Just thinking if we have our normal front 3, this match is easily 4-2 or 5-2...

As far as who we saw today, Origi gives no effort and just needs to be sold... At least Solanke can put into a shift and is young, find him a place to get consistent 1st team minutes on loan

ETA: Get rid of Karius now... He's done, find a better back up to Alisson

These are fun and all, but I'm ready to see the 1st team play together... these matches are so disjointed with the varying degrees of quality...

We were the better side for about 80 minutes, then its like we stopped playing and they kept on... cant take too much from this... and I def think us only getting here yesterday played some part in our performance..

Keita was def the best player out there today... Studge showed some of what we know he has...

Yeah I'm excited to watch Keita play this season... The only thing I take from today is Origi being shite and Karius still being a head case

I think its a little bit of an over reaction on Karius, but I think he needs to go somewhere else to revive his career...

I'd still probably rather Origi on the bench than Solanke (right now), but neither one of them inspires much confidence..

Honestly, after our starting front 3 (and I'll throw in Shaqiri too), none of those guys give me confidence... though I think I have more in Ojo and Wilson than I do in Origi and Solanke (regarding the future).

One of these days, while I’m still alive I hope, you’ll actually admire and credit a Liverpool player rather than shitting on them.

Fingers crossed.
