Just back from the pub.

Yes, disappointment is a bitch. But I couldn't be prouder of this team.

Goals from Heaven and Retard Goalie F-Ups count just as much as goals by the team from excellent build-up play, so congrats to Real.

And congrats to their Enforcer, Ramos ,for the biggest play of the match. Mission Accomplished, motherfricker.

Our MF and backline played wonderfully in defense IMO. World-class, I would call it. Couldn't be more proud.

Sadio Mane played his legs off. Bobby either had a bad game or Madrid went out of their way to neutralize him, especially after they accomplished their targeted assassination.

Tough to take.

Up until Ramos took his shot, I thought the match favored us significantly. Afterward? Not so much.

But if we want to win world-class matches we HAVE to upgrade to world-class in front of goal. HAVE. TO. Its a must. We just gotta. I'm not gonna sit here and shite-talk Karius for hours but, put simply, unforgiveable is my word for it.

Add Fekir and Keita? I would really like those MF additions.

We HAVE to get some help and depth for the wings and for Bobby. Period. Ings and Lallana ain't the answers. Maybe Solanke and his deep talent could be, but he's gonna need to be first off the bench and get minutes.

Another CB? That would be nice. But I saw Lovren face up to the best player in the world multiple times in this match and he didn't collapse or fade. He stood up to the pressure. So more CB or MF depth I'd be perfectly happy with, but I put that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind GK and more front-line players.

YNWA, mates.

frick Madrid.

frick Everton.

And frick ManU and their celebration of our players injuries.

Yep, he sure did. But that was a large group of players jumpin' and jostlin' and defenders get away with a lot of shite in groups like that all the time, so that doesn't make me angry.

Grabbing Salah's arm, wrapping it under him pinning it to him, and intentionally falling on it?

Sadly, he probably absolutely thinks that kind of dirty play is worth it. Because he's been rewarded for it.

Not really. He ran in and went straight for Karius. The ball wasn't even there.

Our d was awesome. Couldn’t have asked for much more. Without Karius fricking up, that leaves a wonder goal nobody could do anything about. We completely shut down Ronaldo and Marcelo

It's amazing what being next to a good centre-half can do...

It is, although it has taken me a loooooong time to trust Lovren but I think you might be right. Now we just need a GK and a DM and our back is set.

I’m just dropping in to say this run has made me a huge Liverpool fan, especially since all the jackasses on this site root against them. I won’t pretend to be a lifelong fan, but I fully support Liverpool going forward.

Anyway, great match and Klopp has Liverpool def headed in the right direction.

Baws, what a freaking roller coaster of a season. I love the heart and resilience this team showed this year. Selling Cou and injuries everywhere, I was getting really nervous in January but Klopp kept everything under control despite the obstacles. Year 2 was certainly a success and Liverpool is headed in the right direction. This squad has so much potential and it’s only getting better over the summer. Can’t freaking wait for 18/19!

I will preface this with the fact that no one lost the game besides us. Karius was disgustingly terrible and WE are the sole reason (or more fairly, Karius) we lost.

The being said, Ramos is a dirty fricking POS and had a huge impact on this game. I pray to God Mo can play the World Cup. Absolutely gutted for him. Typical Spanish shite though, shouldn’t be surprised. We were warned beforehand about it, I guess I should’ve expected as much.

I was obviously hoping that Liverpool lost, but I agree with this wholeheartedly. Mo is special.

It’s great to see a fun and competitive Liverpool helping make the league better this season. I’m a big Klopp guy, even though I hope y’all never win a title with him.

Feel the same way about United, my friend. Hate you guys, but will always, always respect the club. As much as I want you to lose I would never ever wish an opponent to injure your players, especially with a WC on the way. We’ll see what happens, with Mo. just an awful situation for him and Egypt.

I hope Mo is available. Egypt was a long shot but I would really like to see how far Mo could take them.

What was odd to me was how Salah was clearly in pain. They said he had a dislocated shoulder. Why would they try to let him run it off?

From the way he was powerbombed by Ramos, I thought it was his collarbone.

What we need next year is a player who can frick up a guy like Ramos in this type of situation. Not an overt act but an enforcer who can look for an opening and drive his knee or shoulder into the fricking ground "within the rules". We don't need much gents. Fekir, a wing to spell the boys along with a youngster to play in cup matches for the big three. Then spend big money on GK and DM and I'm good. I can't believe I am going to say this but I don't think we need a big money CB but just move Gomaz in and let Lovren run with VVD with top notch GK and DM along with our talented, young FB's and I like what we have. Am I fricking crazy to trust Lovren? I also think Matip can bounce back and that Gomez has a big future at CB.
