yeah, I like Jorginho too... I just think Neves is younger and a little more dynamic, with an excellent passing range for a DLP... He's also acclimated to England and the grind of the championship..
Id be happy with either...

From what I've seen, I think Jorginho creates more chances from deep (I have no idea what the numbers say) and to me he looks more positionally aware and better defensively to fit our system. Just my opinion. I can't wait for transfer time. Best time of the year going on an emotional roller coaster

I think we'd need to bring someone in to help Jorginho (probably Neves too) so we wouldn't be exposed at the back... Naby, Jorginho/Neves and a Kante type would be a dream MF 3...
I dunno, just speculating... part of me still wants an enforcer to anchor the MF 3 and bring in a SMS (pipe dream) as more of an advanced playmaker...
But.... the idea of a DLP serving up some balls for Salah and Mane to run onto is
too edit: In case it wasn't clear, it's just discussion and not arguing... I'd be over the moon with bringing in Jorginho...

The more I’ve watched Jorginho, he does seem to cover pretty well. He’s not a destroyer like a Maschereno or anything, but he reads passes well and does a decent enough job cutting off moves I think. Now he does tend to have Allan stay back more often while Hamsik drifts forward, but that seems similar to how we play with 3 in the midfield.

I just think if you look at the most successful DLPs in recent memory (Alonso/Pirlo)... they’ve always had someone doing the dirty work for them...
I think you could prob get by against the bottom half of the table, without that... against the teams that have no desire to attack... and a Jorginho/Neves type could help break those teams down..

Oh I definitely agree. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised to see Henderson still start if we do get a DLP to go along with Keita. That or Keita is going to be asked to stay back more to help with that

It’s be nice to still have Can around too... depth, options..

Absolutely. Obviously we’ve struggled with injuries but our bench basically since Coutinho left has usually been pretty embarrassing. I will be very interested to see how we deal with some of our guys out on loan or if we spend more money on upgrades (particularly attackers)

I hope we bring in 2 more MFs (one more attack mined - one defensive)... I'd like to see Grujic on loan for one more season... preferably in the EPL (maybe stay with Cardiff if they come up?)
Sell Lallana while we can.. Milner has one more year on his deal, so I see him sticking around.. Hendo will probably stay another year, but if he isn't a starter, I can see selling him next summer.. because he can start for a lot of EPL teams and we could probably get a decent fee.

Henderson will stay too. At the least, he will be depth for us as a DLP or a box to box type, but like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised if he even started as one of our box to box guys to keep balance in midfield

I wouldn't be mad if he stayed, I just think now is the time to offload him while we may be able to get some value... he didn't offer much in the 2nd half of last season and really nothing this season (due to injury)... I don't think he'd be missed if we got a couple more in...

They kept the same shade of red from this year's it seems (that's smart because that color red is really nice)...
Not quite as good as this year's kit but still very very nice

More on Neves from Four Four Two..
quote:
"Despite public statements saying that Neves wants to remain at Wolves next season, sources inform FourFourTwo that he has an ongoing negotiation with LFC – and that he can leave Molineux if the Merseyside board comes in with the right offer."

Obviously nothing could beat this years kit, but I think it looks nice and will also look good on the pitch. The lettering and number style has also changed and looks cool.

Damn, Burnley didn't help us out today, if they had drawn Chelsea a win tomorrow would have essentially locked up a top 4 spot for us... Still a win tomorrow would mean Chelsea would have to win out to have a chance to knock us out of the top 4 if I'm doing math right (technically they could draw once and tie us on points, but we're 19 to the good on GD)... Obviously we play them, so we could put an end to that
