Yea I figured. I was having a snarky moment and I apologize. It really has nothing to do with the discourse and I honestly don’t care what she is called or calls herself.

I will say this about Rapinoe. When she first came on the scene, I loved watching her. She was fast and was killer getting in the quick, perfect crosses into the box. More than anything, she seemed to really love playing. There was almost a youthful exuberance when she played.

She looks absolutely miserable now before the game, Dude the game (unless a goal is scored), and during interviews. I have believe that the backlash and stress involved with her decision has really taken its toll on her mentally. So that said, although I disagree with what she is doing and I don’t really understand her protest because the lines seemingly keep getting shifted, I can respect her conviction.

I am ready to move past her era on the team and I hope USSA changes their focus to a less polarizing member to a more unifying and engaging member. No politics. No snide comments about different ideology.

Ill pull for the team because my national pride and I wish the ladies in the team the best of luck in all aspects of life. I won’t specifically cheer for Rapinoe, but I love my country and I hope they win it all.

So do you think the extreme heat in Europe can actually help us?

usa women’s team must show as much nipple as the men if they want equal pay.

Apparently the team has a better record without her than with her, FWIW. Too lazy to look up stat, but that’s what Fox said leading up to the opener IIRC.

I’m all for seeing the best play always, though.
