VAR is probably responsible for like 4 or 5 of those by itself

VAR leads to lots of stoppage time.

There's obviously still time, but I think Dunn settled in pretty well in the 2nd half. Her speed definitely offers an advantage against wingers.

The Canadians, English, and French are VERY upset about the penalty call in Twitter

yes... people have to realize that "injury time" is a misnomer

time for subs are typically added back in there somehow... and if there's a long VAR check... there's going to be A LOT of time added to the end

Agreed. She has great recovery speed, unfortunately has to use it a lot.

Ugh Rapinoe with the exiting cheers. Leaving the field about 40 minutes too late, even with the penalty make.

So...has any other game had 7 mins of stoppage time? I have never seen 7 mins before...ever.

Honestly, don't think we deserve the W there. Rapinoe is going receive tons of praise over converting two penalties, but she and our keeper will be our downfall.

Not sure about this tournament but the US men's team had somewhere around 7 in their last world cup or gold cup, can't remember which one it was.

There have been a bunch this WWC with 6+ minutes because of all the VAR stuff.

Wow that match was frustrating.

pretty sure there's been like 2 or 3 matches in this tournament with 7 minutes of stoppage time

and they all revolved around VAR stoppages

Seen it a few times this week. once in this tourney for sure, maybe in Copa also?

Gonna be more common in the VAR era.
