I'll reserve judgement on this topic until after more time goes by... I mean Tsimikas was mauled on one play and nothing was given... I get that something had to change though... Especially, on pens...

Also, is this just in England or is this all of Europoe? Could be hard to pull it back for Champ League, etc.

If it’s all of Europe, La Liga teams are about to have a bad time.

Tsimikas

Re-watched the Norwich Game, I thought he was great.

Really nice backup option IMO. Head mistakes are going to happen but I love what he gives going forward and he's got the ability with some guidance by VvD.

How did he look on Peacock BS this past week?

Got the opening assist on a pinpoint cross.

Played even better than he did at Norwhich. Got caught too high up a couple of times, but against a Burnley which bypasses the midfield so much I expect it.

Also, hurt his shoulder late, but even after still had this type of tenacity...

Twitter link to him not giving up

Also took that as a sign that he still had some gas in the tank, unlike the previous week.

I like this kid.

Was shocked he got some harsh reviews after Norwich. He probably put 5 balls into the box that were close to TAA/Robbo level and he was busting his arse most of the game.

Not sure how everyone can't see the potential in him. The ball skills were

Fab has been back in training this week so hopefully he is good to go for the weekend

Any predictions on what midfield we use?

Guessing Fab and Hendo are locks

Maybe Keita and then bring on Thiago early in 2nd half for him? If this was a month from now you’d imagine Thiago would start but since he hasn’t played yet this season I’m not sure he will

And Bobby’s pressing would be huge to have but with Jota scoring in the first 2 games you gotta think he’ll start again and we bring Bobby on in 2nd half?

Think you have to roll with the hot hand and start Jota.

I’m really looking forward to Lukaku vs Van Dijk.

Just a brutal draw. Going to be fun watching the games in this group. At least Man City got PSG and RB Lepzig.

I like our draw... we get our old friend Milan!

We owe Atleti (stupid Adrian) and do we always draw Porto now?

Tough draw but could have been worse. Don’t know much about Atleti, Porto should not pose a threat, don’t think AC have improved over last season. Added Giroud, lost their star keeper, and having a contract dispute with one of their best players. Staying healthy is our biggest threat.
