This should be the US Chant. We don’t need to do the dumb I believe we will win crap, or copy the Euros. Just tell em straight up.
Or we go with STADB

The reason these fans in the US are so fricking weird is because they don't actually like soccer. they like being "THE" superfans. The other sports were taken. So they swooped in and claimed soccer because the MLS was available. they are as disingenuous with this as everything else they do in life.
best synthesized post i’ve ever seen on this phenomena. the logical extent of people with no personality and no interests latching onto something to try and “differentiate” themselves in a world where just being fricking normal is now “counter culture”

But still "I believe that we will win" is the epitome of gayness.
It’s especially gay because we stole it from Utah State basketball. Except when they did it, it was incredible.

The gays really have ruined the sport in the states. No straight man in America who’s new to the sport is going to look at this and be like “wow I need to watch soccer more”

I get this chant is terrible...but all the college teams we root for have extremely dumb chants. Ohio State says O-H-I-O and spells out a state name LSU says "go tigers" but changes go to geaux Dozens of teams chant "it's great to be a _____ _____"
True. But if 15 cucks we’re chanting it at a game you have every right to make fun.

It becomes increasingly more difficult to argue against soccer being gay every year.
There's no getting away from the very large gay contingency within US soccer fandom and it doesn't help that the organization itself leans into it for whatever reason. That's why you see us coming out in kits with rainbow numbers like the friendly against Germany.
I don't know what the fixation with these people tying broadcasting who they like to have sex with to soccer is, but it's going to keep the game from getting as big as it could here.

Calling any us group ultras is sad and pathetic because we don’t have any ultras here. Just little hatchback or minivan drivers thinking they are ultras

Agreed, us soccer is making a mistake playing to the homos. They are the ones currently buying the most tickets but if you actually want the game to reach maximum level here you can’t market it to where people are going to make gay jokes. Common sense should tell you that homos don’t make up enough of the population to cater to them how us soccer does.

Yeah the first step is to let people be indifferent to it instead of actively pushing people away, giving them reasons to say “soccer is gay burr durrr”, and giving them reasons to push their kids away from it. We would obviously still have a long way to go in terms of the system, youth development, etc. but those things would naturally start to work out over time if more people actually gave a shite about it.
I really think more people would like it if they picked a random team in Europe to follow, learned about it that way, and had no frame of reference of it from within this country.

America is too much of a mouthful to fit in this chant.

Damn that was cringe. That's the reddit type soccer fan. I wish Americans would stay true to themselves and not try to imitate europeans.
Posted on 6/13/26 at 9:13 am to West Palm Tiger561
Meanwhile teams in Europe have a planned stoppage during the game to let the smoke dissipate from the fires and fireworks they set off in the stands

Soccer really has a way of attracting the figs

The ones want doing the chant and waiving their rainbow flags want to be European
