In any case, what exactly is Green's potential? Bundesliga bench option? I haven't seen much more than that from him but he's young and will probably get better, just like Morris.

Y'all are trying to predict the future of a 22 year old player who has already shown well in MLS. Pump the breaks. Y'all also shite all over Bobby Wood in 2014 after the Ecuador game and said he should never get another call up. Bobby was 23 at the time.

I think the Morris "hate" (I think of it more of a doubt) is that he's very much a throwback US player - very athletic, very one footed and not necessarily the most skilled guy out there. I was fricking shocked last game when he sent in a cross with his left foot. That should tell you something. Hope he can still improve but I see him more as a late sub in a game where we are chasing a goal and his energy might spark something.

It will depend on his work ethic and discipline, which if it doesn't change you are spot on. The kid is a hard worker.

Also a fair assessment. He could be a late spark. However, I don't think he'll ever be a first choice player to make a 23-man roster come World Cup time or even a Confed Cup appearance.

In terms of Green, I'd say that right now I'd honestly say that Green's potential, should he reach it, is expected to be higher than Morris'.

I doubt Morris will ever leave the MLS. There's nothing wrong w/ that but for whatever reason I just see him as a forever MLS guy, but I give credit to Green for sticking it out in Germany and trying to play at a much higher level. Now if he is rotting away on the bench this season then Morris is certainly given an edge, but I don't see that happening.

I have juvenile diabetes too. If you stay active and are diligent in monitoring your glucose levels (which with continuous glucose monitors is increasingly easy to do these days) you won't have any effects at his young age or during his career. I'm not nearly as active as a pro athlete and my A1C levels are 5.3-5.4 for the past 6 years.

Anyway, my point is that Wood was written off by a lot of people here and then less than a year later was scoring in the game that determined if we went to the confed cup or not. Writing off Morris at this point is completely premature.

Well, as far as the nats go, Pulisic got his shot after he was already beginning to crack dortmunds first team rotation.

Green was sitting on the bench with a couple late game cameos to his name and prob picked the US cause jurgen promised him brazil.

Jurgen talked green up and brought him to the WC. He sold it well, even though green, as a player, hadnt done anything to deserve it.
