Interesting stats. At the same time, Xhaka does what Coq could not do, which is play passes between the lines. Coq's confidence in that regard regressed once he lost Santi as a partner. Xhaka should have been paired with Coq. Xhaka and Ramsey is a terrible combo.

I want to sell Ramsey if Wenger stays. He could be the lynchpin of a team or a solid no.2 to play as a foil to a superstar, but he's wasted here.

We might as well play young talents from now on. If we aren't going to give our veterans a framework, then at least let the kids learn on the job. Those kids learning between 2007 and 2011 was where we played amazing, and the project could have come to fruition numerous times if there was just a guiding hand.

Thierry, I appreciate your interest, but you’re not near ready.

Arsenal have to make Allegri say “no” at least three times.

We need to take off Mustafi and never play him again.

I know I am coming in late here, but every day that passes, I hate Mustafi's face more and more. He looked so pathetic complaining about Aguero.

Wilshire is whining that we got no calls yesterday. It just comes across as being a baby. He may even have half a point about the 2nd goal (although i think it was a good goal and not offside) but to whine about calls when you got thoroughly outclassed is bad.

I don't mind so much because Jack actually played like he gave a shite. His body language was much different from Ramsey and Xhaka. I do wish Jack would stop shite-talking the ref. The sequence where he got the yellow card was hilarious because you could see it coming.

Yes, I know—“well regarded long term players,” “a former captain,” and “an Arsenal legend” ...

But why are Henry and Arteta being mentioned by even the rumor-mill standards of Brit sport journalism?

The Arsenal manager’s chair is no place for on-the-job training.

This would be horrible.

The more and more I look at our realistic possibilities. They have to get Jardim. If not then ancelotti for a season or 2 until you can identify someone else.

Henry would be a disaster. Arteta needs to go manage his own club for a while first.

Nacho is out for a little while
quote:

Wenger on Nacho Monreal…
He is out for the two games on Thursday and Sunday, certainly out. He might be out for two more, Milan and maybe even one more. He had an inflamed back, a disc problem. The rest, everybody is fit.
I fully expect us to lose 3-1 today.

I really hope we don't play 3 at the back... I feel like we have nothing to offer attacking wise in that formation. We just get pushed back and back by pressure.

Very attacking lineup. Why not? It's not like we defend anyway.
