I don't mean to go all conspiracy nut job here, but did y'all watch Mkhi's welcome video?
Sure as hell sounded like he said "Pierre, do you want to come over here?" and then pointed to behind the camera.
Surely it's just mind games?
Nah. Arsenal deleted the frickin video off of their official YouTube page (•_•)

Arsenal have confirmed Henrikh Mkhitaryan will wear the No 7 shirt in the Premier League.
However, he cannot wear that number in the Europa League as it was worn by Alexis Sanchez against Cologne in September.
UEFA rules state Mkhitaryan must wear a different number for the rest of the Europa League. That number is yet to be confirmed.

I'm going to take a shot here on the reasoning for the rule. Europa has a lot of obscure teams in the competition. Scouting may be a difficult thing for a lot of teams. Also, there are a lot of language barriers involved. So, they remove the need to learn names to scout. You just need numbers.
I understand that this is likely not an issue for 99% of the teams out there, but it's the only explanation I can think of.

Arsenal's Kelechi Nwakali has joined Dutch side MVV Maastricht on loan for the rest of the season.

Okay so does anyone know the latest news on Santi? I'm really missing him right now in the team... Hoping I see him play at least one more time at arsenal

The way things are going I'd be really surprised if he played again for Arsenal.

Cazorla, who is out of contract in the summer and is yet to be offered an extension by Arsenal, admits he has considered retirement but remains optimistic about a return to top-flight football.
"There have been moments when I've thought about throwing in the towel. I've thought things like 'maybe it is not worth continuing'," the Spain international told RTVE.
"If things go well, maybe next year I can play at the top level again.
"The last surgery was seven weeks ago, and my tenth in total. The first surgery was risky because I took many corticosteroids and the skin deteriorated.
"Then a skin graft was proposed and after that, the infection ate my tendon".

It sucks. He's a great guy and a pleasure to watch play. One of the best buys by Arsene ever. I still have my Cazorla shirt from the year he hit that free kick against Hull City in the FA Cup final.

If we bought Cazorla when he was 18 instead of 28, we would have sold him for a lot of money years ago. He's been the most underrated and by far the most versatile of the Spanish contingent in England, and doesn't get the acclaim he deserves, especially as we don't play in as cogent systems as Mata, Silva and Fabregas have played in.

I think the best compliment to Santi is when his teammates are asked who's the best or most skilled player they have played with they all answer "Santi".

I get annoyed that he hasn't gotten the plaudits, because he's been among the top five signings of the Wenger era, and frankly has been one of the best midfielders we've ever had.
Can you imagine if anyone would have asked Juan Mata to play that deep in midfield? Santi did it, and contributed double digit assists, a very rare feet for someone who plays so deep in midfield. He was on his way to establishing himself as one of the best deep-lying playmakers of these past couple of years before his injury. And he's all of 5'5. It boggles the mind that he doesn't get more respect.

Lineup for today. Rambo in Iowbi's place and I'd 100% be satisfied with this lineup. Fingers crossed for a good game

From Sky
So great to have Nacho in this team. Been underrated for so long but he's been one of our best, most consistent players these last few years. I love this man.
