It's unbelievable and yet utterly predictable at the same time that we're going to miss out on Aubamayeng over a few million pounds. We're fricking haggling with Dortmund like we're trying to buy a Big Ben keychain from a Kenyan in Trafalgar Square.

Clearly this is not a Wenger issue has some have thought. It's a club wide miserly attitude that stems from Kroenke viewing the club solely as a way to make money. I'm so glad the few million pounds we aren't willing to spend will be used to buy extra meat pies for board meetings or for Kroenke's mistress to get a tit job. Pathetic

Wasn't the initial thought/deal for 60K euros long ago? So since then nothing has changed?

Looks like they just agreed to a 55.3 mil agreement. They wanted 60 we offered 50. Met in the middle

What's everyone's thoughts on letting Giroud go in the Aubameyang deal?

I'd be pumped to land Auba but he can't play in Europa right?

Selling off Giroud, Walcott, and Alexis would leave us with pretty much just Lacazette and Welbeck to try and win Europa and get back to UCL.

Seems like that's a pretty serious lack of scoring depth if/when Welbeck or Lacazette gets injured in the second half of the season.

My thoughts are well known

But why can't he? He's only played in UCL I believe. He should be able to play in Europa but I don't know the rules that well.

Leaving Europa on the shoulders of Dat Guy worries me but I feel like we've got something up our sleeve. Maybe the young players (Nelson, AMN) finally play in their best position?
I wasn't too worried about our chances in Europa but the prospect of facing it without Giroud, Alexis and Theo now makes me rethink that

It honestly doesn’t look like he is going unless its to a London club (apparently the misses doesn’t want to leave London).

I would like to see Oli play somewhere though for his WC chances, either we give him almost all the PT in Europa or we loan him out (sucks, but hes been such a good player for us and person that I want him to play as much as he can especially in a WC year).

If he does, I would imagine we would run something without a true target man, but hopefully we can get goals from some combination of laca/welbz and some attacking midfield play from ozil/mhiki/ramsey/iwobi.

Or just rely on the GOAT:

As I understand it, Auba would be ineligible now that BVB and Arsenal are in the same competition. Mkhi can be added and play but even if BVB was still playing in UCL, Arsenal would've been forced to choose one or the other because they wouldn't have been allowed to register both.

I'll take it. Get Auba in and we could still have a chance at top 4. Plus he's class. If Micky finds form too then we will be a problem.
