I'm just now tuning in, but I take it they look like shite? Same old crappy defense on the backline? Lack of fight/effort once again?

Same old cutesy shite in the penalty area. One too many passes.

Wilshire had a great shot but kicked it to Seven Sisters tube station.

I saw that. They always try to pass/dribble it into the back of the net. Always far too many dink and dunk flicks inside the box.
WHAT A START!!!
That might just do it

What’s the second tie-break after road goals?
Is it total goals?
Is it total goals?

There we go Kolasinac!! Glad Sead is back.

We can spend over £100M on strikers and be shite but lo and behold, when we need a goal, our left backs are the ones to step up.
I’m perfectly cool with playing a front two of Monreal and Kolasinac

Okay, I see.
Total goals first tiebreak.
Road goals second.
That was a big goal. We have a little breathing room.

What a fricking piss-poor attempt at a counter.

I'm prepared for us to draw Atletico and then cry.

Moving on...just like we drew it up!

We drew AC Milan. Can't catch a break.

I just don't get how Arsenal have scouted and bought some of these players yet not a single one of those players yesterday looked good enough to play for Arsenal.
I'm just ready for the Wenger era to be over.

AC Milan in R16 in Europa.
Wow.
I guess instead of being known for always being eliminated in the first round of CL, we’ll henceforth be noted for being knocked out in Europa second round.

I know Arsenal has been pretty poor lately, but is Milan really that worrisome? They are 7th in Serie A. Honestly, I haven't seen them play at all this year. I'm not expecting to get through to the quarters, but that has more to do with Arsenal being terrible and not AC Milan.

We will play our A team (minus Auba) against Milan so yeah i'd say we have a punchers chance. They've been pretty crappy this year (although i do think they're on a particularly good stretch at the moment).
To me the biggest issue is we have danny welbeck at striker. Well that and our defense.

I'm starting to think that the best thing to happen to Welbeck's bank account was being constantly injured. He always remained that guy that you wonder how great he can be when he doesn't get hurt. Look at the guy. He looks like he is carved from granite. Now, he's not injured and people can all see that he just isn't very good.

Welbeck is most effective out wide where his work rate stands out and his lack of end product isn't as much of an issue. His finishing and touch aren't good enough to be anything more than a squad player.
