My whats app group chat with the brits in my fantasy league is blowing up with some pissed off arsenal supporters.

So where does the board stand on us selling Alexis? If we get Draxler as his replacement along with another player I would be happy.

We better move quick because the transfer window closes in less than 24 hours.

We won't sell Alexis unless we have a replacement in place.

Would he still have significant value if the club shopped him again in the winter?

Sanchez? No, he would have 0 value since they could sign him on a pre-contract agreement to get him for free when his contract runs out next summer.

I doubt we sell Alexis. We fans have all punted on the season but I think we are probably going to try to win Europa and back door our way into the CL next year. We damn sure aren't good enough to win Europa though.

There are plenty of rumors that there is a rift in the locker room due to him, essentially some players just tired of him beating around the bush.

quote:I've been fine with selling Alexis for a while now. His attitude last year just started to rub me the wrong way. Immensely talented player, but gives the ball away too much and just visibly frustrated when he doesn't get the ball. It would be awesome if they could sign Draxler or another younger player and sell Alexis. Give some of the players in the youth squad, such as Nelson, some playing time with the first team. We aren't winning shite this year, so may as well start to develop players and prepare for the future.

Alexis close to sign for City for £55 + £5. Arsenal asked for few hours to sign Thomas Lemar, which they confident they are going to do

New reports say we bid £90 million for Lemar... Yeah I don't know if I believe that or not
Posted on 8/31/17 at 8:22 am to GeauxHouston
Hopefully that 90m includes Monaco's manager in the deal, too
Posted on 8/31/17 at 8:29 am to DB10_AFC
£90 million for Lemar would be a joke too. Could get both Draxler and Mahrez for that money.

Joel Campbell off to Real Betis on loan.

So apparently we just bid £92 million (€100) for Lemar...
Posted on 8/31/17 at 11:17 am to GeauxHouston
That's insane money. I haven't seen him play much but that seems like a massive overpay.

Also from Ornstein
Ornstein followed up saying Wenger wants to keep Chambers, which I think is smart.
Sounds like we will be keeping Mustafi, as well.

He's worth it. He's got true world class potential. I would say he's more of an Ozil replacement than Sanchez. Lemar looks like he will develop into Ozil except with goals and a great work rate.
