Ramsey for Wales is a superb player. Supporting players, making runs to create space, doing his defensive responsibilities.

Doesn't Ramsey play further forward for Whales than Arsenal? It seems they give him less responsibility. Either way, it seems with Arsenal, he is either a glory hound shirking his responsibilities or he is doing what Wenger asks. Whichever one is true, it doesn't matter. Either Wenger needs to play someone else in that spot that is willing to keep the team shape, or he needs to change his instructions for Ramsey.

Ox turned down the move to Chelsea. He wants to go to Liverpool.

Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool for £35m plus £5m in add-ons. I like it for a player in the last year of his contract.

Maybe now we actually get to see Kolasinac play at LB this season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain to sign 6yr deal with #LFC & becomes Arsenal's all-time record departure fee. Unlikely that #AFC will sign a replacement

Fantastic sale. Good money for a player I find to be incredibly overrated. I like him as a guy and think he's got a high ceiling, but he's been mentally fragile and totally unproductive for us.

It's not even September and this season has made me so damn angry.

At Arsenal's dogshit rate, if the Astros bow out of the season with a whimper and LSU disappoints, I may just give up on sports.

I'm becoming too much of a fricking nihilist.

Arsenal have no plans to replace AOC & no money for major signings, but only way Sanchez leaves is if #AFC get massive money & replacement
How the frick do they have "no money for major signings"? Arsenal have sold Szczesny for 11m, Gabriel for 13m, and Ox for 35m. They have bought Lacazette for 53m. That's 6m in profit.

We are a joke. If Arsene really cared about the club like he claims he would step down.

Some are saying it has to do with our wage bills and the premier league wage structures, that because we've increased them by more than 7 million, we have to turn a profit in the window. Read that on reddit somewhere.

Others are saying its a bullshite excuse for us to not do anything.

Sorry gents, Feel bad for a club I respect immensely.

Ya'll need to do what we did back in the H&G days.

Hate to see Arsene turn into the French Woy but he basically has...

It seems like we are the only club worried about this. I call BS. I'm not positive but I think the punishment is just a fine so...

They offered Ox 180k a week to add to the wage bill. If they were really worried about the wage bill, they would have never even offered that to Ox, in my opinion. It seems as if teams like Man United and City would have bigger problems with their wage bill than Arsenal at the moment.

Don't see us making any moves the rest of the window besides maybe Johnny Evans.... Which would be underwhelming. Honestly losing Ox isn't a huge blow as Bellerin can step in at RWB and Kolasinac at LWB and we could still be dangerous. Plus getting £40 mill for him was great business.

Good fricking riddance to Ox.

Good Lord. Dude was a bitch the past few weeks here. Oh well £40 is a damn robbery for us. Too bad we won't use it on anyone.

Maybe Reiss Nelson gets some quality playing time now that "I want to be a CM" is gone.

I wouldn't even consider it a blow at all if everyone remains healthy (obviously that won't happen). I'd much rather Bellerin on the right wing and Sead on the left. I still don't understand how Arsene thinks playing Ox and Bellerin out of position is better than playing Bellerin and Sead exactly in their positions.

Ox was a good utility player that we could plug into a multitude of positions. I don't think he was a good enough player to be a regular starter.

Selling Ox is good business. Not having a backup RB is not. Arsenal gonna Arsenal.

Just look at our RWB/RB before August and after August:

Bellerin
Ox
Jenkinson
Debuchy
Gabriel

to

Bellerin

Last I checked we still have Debuchy or Chambers if we go into a back 4.

This transfer window after last season is a sham. We are headed into an extended period of mediocrity I'm afraid.
