Granit Xhaka has been sent to the hospital during WC training. Not good.

The 25-year-old covered his face as he lied on the ground surrounded by a number of his concerned team-mates.

After being helped to his feet by two coaches, Xhaka appeared to be in tears as he made his way off the field.

Vladimit Petkovic's side were training in the pouring rain when the injury happened.
Well, frick me. Hopefully it was just tears for fear of missing the World Cup, and not from pain or a torn ACL or something similar.

It's just a bone bruise. He's going to be fine for the World Cup.

Haven't noticed the weird mountain looking lines in the middle of the other jerseys. Are we paying homage to the great Slovenia team of 2010?

“Arsenal interest in Fellaini is genuine and it sounds like he’s more likely to sign for them than he is to renew with MUFC or sign for AC Milan. Has already spoken with Emery, who wanted to sign him for PSG.“

Do not like. For me he’s too similar of a player to El Nany or am I off assuming this?

Please no. Only thing he's good at is winning headers.

I know this will sound ridiculous, but I think I'd rather Arsenal be a worse team than have Fellaini.

According to Arseblog we are going with Adidas as our next kit sponsor.

We would essentially trade Santi for Fellaini, which is a terrible fricking trade.

It’s actually like trading someone who didn’t play the past two years for someone who can play.

Fellaini can barely play, other than to win the ball with his head, a feature of our game that we only resort to when we are desperate. Fellaini can't play the quick passing game, and would be left on an island if he played as a DM. He'd be a terrible move, unless we plan to be a team that needs desperation plan B's.

Sounds par for the course for this club to be honest. Not saying I’m enthusiastic about the move but who on this team wins headers now that Giroud is gone?

No one, but we shouldn't be playing a game based on that, given the players we have. We might need more physical presence in midfield, but that's a different argument than using Felliani. Emery didn't really have tall attacking players at any of his stops, but his Sevilla teams, from what I remember, had some tall players in midfield.

Finding a DM who is capable of passing the ball and capable of winning headers and second balls is a really tough task. We've needed a player like that, but as soon as one comes up, we are quickly priced out in the market.

The player we should be targeting is Julian Weigl. Tall, good on the ball, and superb at positioning.

I would start Elneny before Felliani. I would even rather Maitland-Niles play and develop rather than have Felliani head a few balls and rack up yellow cards. I'm not sure we are even all that interested in him.

Weigl would be an excellent pickup for us. I don't think Dortmund let him go for anything other than an exorbitant fee.

I'm glad we are going to keep the Wengerian tradition of signing French youth.
