That kit looks like a Walmart knock-off.

I'm just going to refuse to believe that. That looks like a cheap t-shirt.

Ornstein has spoken.

Arsenal not close to appointing new manager. No agreement yet on chosen candidate, negotiations at relatively early stage, thorough process ongoing, next week looks unrealistic. Once decided, IG/RS/SM will present recommendation to #AFC board. Arteta among names being considered

I know we cannot improve our position, but you’d think this team would play with a bit more spirit.

It’s only right that Wenger’s career ended 1-nil to the Arsenal.
Merci et aurevoir, Arsène.

Two weeks ago i was reading many rumors saying that the next manager will only have 50m to spend this summer and some of you were saying that's bullshite. If it really is bullshite, and if they really want success, why wouldn't they consider some of the top managers available at the moment? Like Enrique or Ancelotti? Instead, their top priorities are Arteta, Nagelsmann and Jardim. It's obviously that they want a manager who's going to try to do something with the current squad and force the teenagers. Neither of them has never managed a big club and they are ready to take this job as this will be a step up in their careers. They won't give a frick about spending. There is no doubt that they will give their best to succeed but we all know that with the current squad we have, we can only battle for entering the top 4, nothing more. Agree?

You are basing alot off of speculation. There are countless rumors flying around. If you want to get all riled up after every rumor you read then it will be a long summer for you.
No where does it say we aren't looking at other candidates besides Arterta.
As for top 4...I would take that in an heartbeat. You are expecting a hell of a lot if you think any manager can walk into the job and win the league. Getting UCL is the main objective next season. A domestic cup or Europa league would be icing on the cake.

I'm looking forward to next season. I'm not as down on Arteta, if he ends up being the guy, as it seems others are. It's new. It's hard to imagine falling much lower than we are right now. Europa is fun, but if we finished 8th or 9th next year, it wouldn't feel any worse to me than 6th.
I'm simply looking forward to:
- A full season of Auba/Laca, which has been lethal together. Super pumped about this, actually.
- The possibility of LMAO playing together, or if that even works tactically (probably not)
- How we play under a new manager (4-3-3 would seem to fit pretty well)
- The development of AMN and other young players
- If Xhaka continues to improve. He was quite solid down the stretch minus one dumb slide against ManU.
- If a new manager fixes our defensive miscues, which have been mostly correctible.
I'm only dreading:
- The likelihood we lose Ramsey this summer. Would gut me but wouldn't shock me at all if he heads to Barca or Real or somewhere like that.
I'm just excited about novelty. This season was mostly a dull affair. Hopefully we get back into top 4 contention and work our way toward title contention and CL runs in the coming years.

It was a shite season, but Arsenal still tied for 3rd in goals scored this season, behind only City and Liverpool. The defense was the problem as we let in 51 goals. We should see new blood at CB and GK, and hopefully someone who can coach them up well. I'm just hopeful they can qualify for Champions League next season.

I'm betting he leaves. He's been stellar for us since Van Persie left. But I think the promise of a major payday along with a percentage of the transfer fee to Barca or Real would be too much to pass up.

frick that. Give him the armband and pay him what he deserves.

I think with Wenger leaving Ramsey has his heart set on a move to Barca. That said this could all be part of negoations. The sticking point is he has one year left on his contract and we don't want another Alexis and Ozil situation. So it will be settled this summer.

But one man who will not be taking over is Hoffenheim’s Julian Nagelsmann. ‘Julian Nagelsmann will be our coach next season. 100 per cent,’ said the club’s director of football Alexander Rosen.

‘If they [Juve’s directors] do not send me away, I think I will stay at Juve next year,’ Allegri said in his post-match press conference. Allegri also indicated that the club are already planning their transfers ahead of the summer window. “Motivation is always there at Juventus,’ he said.

German football federation (DFB) revealed a contract extension for coach Joachim Low through the 2022 World Cup.
Low, who had been linked with a move to Arsenal to replace Arsene Wenger, had been under contract through Euro 2020 and said he is driven by the idea of "developing and furthering a team which sets it sights on the highest goals."

Colin Lewin also out in the Arsenal staff purge.

Arsenal head of medical services Colin Lewin has lost his job after 23 years at the club. Shock decision delivered this morning and understood to have left many #AFC players + staff stunned and upset. Lewin leaves as part of a medical department restructure that could see more go.
quote:Also, Freddie Ljungberg is returning to the club this summer as a youth team coach on a permanent basis.
Lewin’s dismissal part of major restructuring of medical team led by head of high performance Darren Burgess.

This would kill us. Prob our best player this season and def our best center mid. I thinks hes going. And we wont have enough money to replace him, get a gk and strengthen at cb.

Looks like it’s going to be Arteta.
Unqualified candidate who comes cheap eager to take a job where he’s in way over his head. The justification is, “we’re going to surround him with elite coordinators—uh, executives.”
Now where have I heard THAT before?
I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

I don't really see the correlation to Orgeron to be honest. Inexperience is really where the similarities begin and end.
