I expect us to score off of a couple corners.

Wondo, MB and Dempsey could score.

Green may create something.

Jozy would be a plus, but I'm not counting on it.

You´re flipping out, like many, but Jurgey´s forming a group. Right or wrong, he´s forming a group.

You people don´t question Scolari´s craziness with Brazil, so I´d say you need to sit tight, and root for the NT.

ETA If it´s not clear by now, Jurgey´s putting A LOT of pressure on Clint Dempsey, and hopes he responds. King rooster is Baby Brad.

What's the weirdest omission from Brazil's line-up? Robinho? Lucas Moura?

I'm flipping out because Landon should be part of that group. I don't question Scolari because I just don't give a sh-- about Brazil

Dempsey will respond. And this team rises and falls with Baby Bradley.

Brazil has guys who didn't make that team who would probably start for most other World Cup teams.

Scolari's got it easy.

But, as is customary in him, he´s not bringing the best.

He´s forming a platoon, and will triumph or perish with them.

I'd argue that the 2010 roster had more weird shite going on than the current one.

What the hell was Elano doing as a starter? That guy at his peak is the third best midfielder on most US teams.

All Brazilian rosters have weird shite going on. A lot has to do with promoting and selling players, post major tournament.

They are a mafia.

That said, Scolari is simply batshit crazy, and has an extreme fixation with Spain.

ETA He´s a great motivator and knows football.

Agreed.

Scolari is nothing compared with Dunga for odd choices.

The only thing that stands out about Scolari's selections is that he put a much higher premium on players with a more regular experience with the Selecao over one's that have probably been in better form the past season (like the Atletico players Dandy mentions and Leandro Castan as well who's been incredible for the past season and a half for Roma).

You and I both know Dunga was a one off. He´s not even worth mentioning.

He thought they could defend and counter.

Also, speaking of difficult choices, I wonder what Del Bosque will decide on Costa? Tough to see risking him as a starter or even sub with his hamstring problem no matter what doctors/Costa says at this point.

Will he still make the roster anyway?
