How many big clubs consider a season great with zero title, one finals appearance and a multi goal L?

I think they had a great season. This is the first time they've finished top four two seasons in a row since 07-08 and 08-09. In comparison to their yo-yoing it's been a fantastic season in that regard. Making it to the CL Final is also a big achievement.
I don't know if they can compete with City, but I don't think anyone can compete with City at the moment. City's performance in the league has skewed the conversation. Also the league is not very good overall, and it's nice to have teams like Pool and City committed to playing the game on the ground.
