-Fab---Landon---Zusi-
-----Mixx-----Jones-----

SVB, did you watch the game tonight or not? Or are you just being a huge homer? Zusi was quite possibly the worst player on the field. There is no reason he should have started over Bedoya.

Except it's not a dire time at all.

He had a bad game. So did a lot of players on the U.S. side.

That all being said and taking my homer aspects out Im not sure Zusi will be on the WC roster now that you know who is back from his respite. Zusi might have that level of play in him down the road but he is not there right now.

I think this is our best option.

Lol. Our lineups are the exact same except I have Bacon starting instead of Deuce. I would be fine with starting Clint, more than fine actually, but I think Bacon would be better than him up top. I could be wrong though.

ETA: I would rather Fab be at LB, and Bacon/Deuce on the wing/up top but I don't think Jürgen would do that. I guess Jürgen also probably won't start Bacon up top though either. Oh well.

Honestly I wish jurgen would call in lichaj but that's such a pipe dream it's not even funny. I think jurgen may try something different on the outside since he subbed zusi so early. EJ is probabky more likely knowing jurgen, but bedoya could use a shot like this with the full team. Putting guzan in is somewhat reactionary, but so is 85% of the board right now

I really don't want to see beasley starting, I do not see him being viable at the World cup and he did not cover himself in glory tonight

That's a pretty huge exception.

Jozy getting that yellow really put us in a bad spot.

Yup, but Bradley getting injured is so much worse. All of the sudden, we have no stability in the midfield.

Bradley is clearly our most valuable player. It's insane how much better the passing is with him in. Still mad we didn't move cameron to RB and mix to mid at halftime. shite needed a change.

I'm still holding out some slight hope that he may be able to recover from now until Tuesday. Even though he was on crutches, the word is he was putting some pressure on the ankle.

Could fap to this.

I too am holding out hope that MB can play Tuesday. If he was putting weight on it tonight then that's encouraging.

We'd either have to push high or certain players would have to be pretty good for this to work. Our d clearly needs two holding midfielders for cover

Yeah, tis true. I would rather our normal formation but with Mix-Jones as the pivot men. If we went diamond midfield with a stopper in front of the back 4, call me crazy, but I'd trust Beckerman over Jones as a pure holding 6. He's got 10x the discipline, and he's a smart player. fire away at me now!
