It’s kicking off at Ibrox after the final whistle

Celtic had that stretch of about 20 mins they looked good

Of course the penalty happened when Rangers had grabbed back control of the game

If they can get 10 points from their next 4 games before the split, they'd be in prime position.

They are up by 5 essentially, as i will assume Celtic will win at Aberdeen on Wednesday.
They've also got 2 weeks of rest before their next fixture.

Celtic have to win all 5 games to get to 70 points.
Rangers have to win all 4 games to get to 69 points.

Hearts are playing 3 of the bottom 4 teams before finishing the season against Motherwell. Wins against those 3 gets them to 72 points.

Would be nice for them to win the league at home though, as that 3rd game is at Livingston. They play Dundee in their second game, and if they win those two then they'd be at 69 points, but they'd need Celtic to lose or tie both games for them to secure the title at that home game, as well as Rangers would need to drop a point in their 2 games.

They do the split though, which I hate about Scottish football. So after those last four matches in the standard season, Hearts will play all the other Top 6 teams once.

Thanks. Didn't realize they did that in the Scottish League.

The problem with the Scottish Premiership is there's only 12 teams. They play every team 3 times I believe in the standard season, but that's still only 33 matches. They want to be in-line with other European countries, so they created the split to deal with it and increase the number of matches to 38.

I knew some other smaller leagues did that, but didn't realize they did that in Scotland.

They survived administration and almost certain relegation and come back better.

I mean by any measure Scotland is a smaller league, just with two giant clubs… hence why we’re talking about Hearts. There hasn’t been a winner other than Rangers or Celtic in 40 years

Rangers fans were sending flares into the Celtic fans sections

Celtic had ZERO shots. Not shots on target, shots

Crazy scene after the game. Couple of Celtic fans came on the pitch and that obviously pissed off the Rangers fan so a bunch of them came out as well. Lot of middle fingers and swearing was done, couple of flares thrown at each other, then the Rangers fans ran off the pitch back to their seats, and I presume to go outside the stadium for the inevitable confrontations outside the stadium. Police in Glasgow I’m sure have their work cut out for them today after the game.

Not a good weekend for Hearts.

Lose away at lowly Kilmarnock, while Rangers and Celtic both win.

Hearts 63
Celtic 61
Rangers 60

all even at 30 games played now.

Would be horrible to lose the league to Celtic or Rangers after starting 4-0 combined against them. Though I am sure they'll have to play one or both again after the table splits?

Like leeds going 4-0 against Ipswich and Leicester 2 years ago only to miss out on auto promotion.

I really hope they pull it off. Would be great for them and the league.

They've got Dundee on Saturday, then Livingston and then Motherwell. After the split, they'll play Celtic, Rangers, Motherwell, Hibs and Falkirk. Unfortunately, it's probably going to be Celtic again.

Hearts beat Dundee 1-0 on a goal in the 77th minute. Rangers are up 3-1 on Aberdeen right now pending review of Nico Raskin's goal.
