he hasn't done too too much, TBH. no big deal. maybe he can come on late as a sub.

It's probably a polite way if seeing the guy has explosive diarrhea. If that's the case, I can certainly see him not playing

Three goals isn't much? Plus, changing the dynamic of the first match with Spain with the goal of the tournament? Remember, Spain was winning 1-0 when he scored that absurdly great goal.

Van Persie hasn't scored lately, but he still has gotten plenty of good looks at the goal. Some people just don't see how important that is. If he can't play, it's obviously a huge loss for the Dutch.

His movement and positioning are great. If he doesn't play it will help Argentina immensely.

Meh. RvP has been invisible since the Spain game.
Like someone else said, Robben is the key to this team. Always has been.
Huntelaar is a better replacement for RvP than Palacio or Lavezzi are for Aguero.

It sounds like a polite way to take him out of the lineup. He had a real bad game against Costa Rica. Was offsides like half a dozen times and had a major wiff on what would be a game winner.
